Nice sharing of your
Submitted on April 28th, 2010 by jinaHNice sharing of your practical ideas and knowledge about better community. Just want to say something about this issue. What are the criteria of effective clasified and advertisement? Craigslist is at the center of debate, all over again. Individuals are placing issues on the classified adverting website, Craigslist, which are either against the law or inappropriate. Of the obvious violations are the mass amounts of prostitution posted. Another ad common within the media right now is the kids'' ad problem. For instance one father jokingly put his children for sale, only to find himself arrested for child abuse. Maybe he crossed the line, as well as those prostituting themselves; but when did we lose the right to do so many things. Craigslist provides an outlet for the bad in mankind to post things that they shouldn't, but what about the thousands more who are properly selling or getting services and products, I know I've used it to find a house to rent with excellent success.
Advert Criteria
Submitted on July 23rd, 2010 by adminOnly adverts that relate to the content and aspirations of Autonopedia are permitted. That is anything related to sustainable living, community, alternative lifestyles and outlook etc., or anything that common sense would suggest that is appropriate to users of this site.
Anything to do with prostitution, pharmaceuticals (inc. viagra etc.) and all of the usual unwanted un-related forms of adverts will be deleted if posted. If someone jokingly put their children for sale it would be deleted but no prosecution would be made!
People who are properly selling or getting services and products etc are perfectly welcome to advertise as long as it is some way related to the ethics of Autonopedia. Advertising an apartment in a city towerblock would not be appropriate but a cottage with a smallholding would. Advertising motor vehicles are generally not appropriate although a motor home kitted out for low-impact living may be.
Common sense should guide potential advertisers as to whether their advert is appropriate and if we do consider otherwise the advertiser will be informed of our decision.
